Why I Created The Depuffer Arnica Roll-On Serum

The Depuffer is my solution for a problem I’ve seen consistently in my practice and on social media. The idea to launch The Depuffer came to mind in 2018, when "Do face rollers really work?" was the number one question I got from patients and followers. It drove me into a frenzy on social media to debunk this myth once and for all.

Before we dive in, it’s important to note that rolling has traditionally been used for centuries and is believed to have a calming and grounding effect on the mind and body. And for that we love it as it helps to reduce stress and promote overall relaxation. But face rollers are not the end-all, be-all miracle treatment for your skin. They do not help serums penetrate better. Frankly, none of them offer actual treatment benefits that help your skin.

Why just roll when you can roll with benefits for your skin?

I’ve always said you can just use a cold spoon if you’re looking to move lymphatic fluid around, but the results are only short term and facial rollers don’t compare to active ingredients that can deliver results long term. I thought if I could combine the active ingredients with the mechanical action of rolling, you get the best of both worlds.

With The Depuffer I’m bringing the tool into the 21st century and where it needs to be.

The Depuffer is a treatment serum first and foremost. The serum is the powerhouse of this product and the rolling is an added benefit to the serum. The roller is the delivery mechanism of the packaging that comes into play as a tool with actual benefits. This serum does all the heavy lifting as it is formulated with Arnica Montana, traditionally used to help decrease the appearance of swelling; Centella Asiatica to combat redness and transient flushing; Niacinamide to soothe the skin’s barrier; and Ash Bark Extract to help reduce puffiness.

If you know me you know I never take myself too seriously and have tried to bring the joy back to skincare and science!
